1. Our Commitment

Optimus Body Labs, LLC is committed to digital accessibility. We want people with disabilities to be able to use OptimusBody and to get the same information, features, and support as everyone else. We treat accessibility as ongoing engineering work rather than a one-time project, and we would rather describe our position honestly than overstate it.

2. The Standard We Are Working Toward

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. WCAG is the international standard that explains how to make web content usable by people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor, speech, and cognitive disabilities.

We have not completed that work. This page records where we currently stand, including the problems we already know about, so you can decide for yourself whether the site will work for you before you spend time on it.

3. Measures We Have Taken

As of the review date above, the website includes the following:

4. How We Test

Our testing to date consists of a manual review of the site source against the WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria, and arithmetic contrast measurement of our color palette against the ratios that standard requires.

No independent accessibility audit of this website has been carried out. Nothing on this page has been verified by a third party, and no certification or attestation of any kind has been issued for it.

Screen reader testing on this site is still in progress. We have not yet completed testing across the common screen reader and browser combinations, and we have not completed testing with users who rely on those tools day to day. Until that work is finished, we cannot tell you how the site performs in real use, only how it is built.

5. Known Limitations

We know about the following problems. We are working on them, and we would rather you hear about them here than discover them yourself:

6. Scope of This Statement

This statement covers the optimusbody.com website, reviewed at commit ed64097 on the main branch. The OptimusBody mobile application is a separate product with a separate codebase. It has not been assessed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and is not covered by this statement. We will publish a separate assessment for the app rather than let this one imply anything about it.

7. Reporting a Barrier

If any part of this website prevents you from doing what you came to do, please tell us. You do not need to know which guideline applies or use any particular wording. A description of what you were trying to do, what happened, and the page you were on is plenty. If you use assistive technology, telling us which one and which browser helps us reproduce the problem faster.

Email accessibility@optimusbody.com, or use our contact form.

8. Requesting Assistance or an Alternative Format

If something on this site does not work for you, we will help you get the information or complete the task another way. You can ask us for any content on this site in an alternative format, such as plain text, large print, or a format your assistive technology handles better, and we will also walk you through anything you cannot complete on the site yourself. There is no charge for this, and you do not need to explain why you are asking or provide any proof of disability. Use the same email address or contact form above.

9. What Happens After You Contact Us

We will acknowledge your message within 5 business days. Within 10 business days we will send a substantive response that tells you what we found, what we intend to do about it, and an expected timeframe. If a fix will take longer than that, we will say so and offer a way to get what you need in the meantime. If our response does not resolve the matter, you can reply and ask us to escalate it, and a member of our team will review it again.

10. Changes to This Statement

We review this statement as the site changes and at least once a year. When we do, we update the review date, the commit reviewed, and the measures and limitations above so that they continue to describe the site as it actually is.
